Big Question...

There is a question that weighs heavy on my mind, often. I shoot with a Nikon D50 right now, but would like to start saving for a new camera and am debating whether I should stick with Nikon or switch to Cannon. Here is a list of qualities of each that I am aware of:

Nikon:

I already have two lenses for Nikon.

I know the "ropes" of a Nikon (no relearning things)

I have a slight emotional atttachment to them because it is what I started with.

Cannon:

I read (and hear) that they have superior ISO capabilities.

They are more affordable than Nikon. (much more affordable)

Some of the best photographers use Cannon. (Aric & Casey, Jasmine Star, Lauren Clark...need I go on??)

So. There it is. Any comments or suggestions???? I would love to hear your thoughts! Oh,and just so I get into the habit of always posting a picture-here you go! :)

To get started, I am Caitlin.  I am a student, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a photographer, a teacher, a lover, and servant.  I am attending Wayland in hopes of becoming an educator and inspiration. I love photography.  I love every aspect of it.  I love that I get to be a part of the most exciting times in peoples lives.  I love that I get to meet new people.  And I love that those people that I meet are so great.  And so beautiful. 

They say that life is what you make it. Well if that's the case, I choose to make it beautiful.  

Beauty is everywhere, and in everyone.  To not capture it, would be a tragedy.  That is why I'm here.  To capture the beauty of you. Whatever that may be. Maybe you're in love and want to tell the whole world. Maybe you just feel really pretty one day.  Or maybe, you are just you.  Whatever you are, wherever your beauty lies, I would love to be a part of it.
